Before You Start

Before you start

  • A Cronus Zen device (any region)
  • A computer (Windows or Mac laptop/desktop) for programming the script
  • A USB cable to connect the Cronus Zen to your computer

Step-by-Step

1 — Get the yew2K Script

On your phone or computer, go to yew.gg/2k (you can also search yew2K script on Google — it's the first result).
Click Get Access and fill in your payment details. Your email address is the most important field — you'll use it to log in later.
After purchase you'll have immediate access to the script dashboard.

2 — Program the Script onto Your Cronus Zen

On the dashboard, select your build height (for example, 6'7").
Click Program This Script — the site compiles a unique version just for your account.
Plug your Cronus Zen into your computer with a USB cable.
When prompted, click Program to Slot 1 to write the script to the Zen.
Once complete, you'll see yew2K confirmed on Slot 1. You can now unplug the Zen from your computer.

The programming step generates a personalized build every time, which is how detection is avoided.

3 — PS5 Setup

Plug a USB cable into the front port of your PS5 but leave the other end free for now.
Plug your PS5 controller into the left side of the Cronus Zen using a cable.
Turn on the controller — it will connect to the PS5 via Bluetooth.
On the PS5, go to Settings → Accessories → Controller (General) and set Communication Method to Use USB Cable.
Go to Settings → General → Turn Off Accessories, then hover over your controller.
Hold the Cronus Zen in one hand so you can plug it in quickly. Make sure no script is showing on the Zen — it should be on the Zen home screen. If a script is showing, switch it off first.
While holding Right on the D-pad on your PS5 controller, plug the Cronus Zen cable into the top of the Zen (connecting it to the PS5 USB cable). The PS5 screen will glitch briefly — that's normal.
Once connected, switch to your desired script slot to activate yew2K.
You must repeat this every session

The PS5 connection process needs to be done every time you start playing. It becomes quick once you've practiced it a few times.

4 — Xbox Setup

Plug a USB cable into a front port on your Xbox.
Connect the other end to the top of the Cronus Zen.
Plug your Xbox controller into the left side of the Cronus Zen using a cable, and plug the other end into the controller.
That's the entire setup — the script is ready to use.

5 — PC Setup

PC setup is identical to Xbox. Treat your PC exactly like the Xbox in the steps above.

PC players — unplug the programming cable before you play

Do NOT leave the Cronus Zen plugged into your computer (the PROG side) while playing on PC. Every game on PC will detect it and prevent you from playing. Unplug that cable before you launch the game.

6 — Open the Mod Menu

In-game, hold Left Trigger (L2/LT) and press Options (Menu on Xbox) at the same time.
The mod menu will appear on screen.
Use Left / Right on the D-pad to move between mods.
Use Up / Down on the D-pad to change the value of the selected mod.
Press Circle (B on Xbox) to close the menu and save your settings.

7 — Mod Menu Overview

Turbo Fades vs. Insta Stop

If you want to run Turbo Fades, make sure Insta Stop is turned OFF — Insta Stop overrides fades when both are active.

Tips

  • Build height matters. Select the correct height in the dashboard before programming — this affects shot timing.
  • Unique scripts prevent detection. Every time you program, the script is compiled fresh and unique to your account.
  • Free updates for all members. New versions are pushed regularly at no extra cost. Check the Discord for announcements.
  • PC players: The only extra step compared to Xbox is unplugging the computer-side cable before launching the game.
  • PS5 players: Practice the plug-in timing with the D-pad held down a few times — it gets fast quickly.

Troubleshooting

The PS5 won't recognize the Cronus Zen. Make sure your controller communication method is set to Use USB Cable in PS5 Settings → Accessories → Controller (General). Also confirm the Zen is on the Zen home screen (no script active) before you plug it in while holding Right on the D-pad.

A script is showing when I try to connect to PS5. Before plugging the Zen into the PS5, switch the Zen to a slot with no script loaded. Once the connection is established, switch to your yew2K slot.

I'm getting a warning on PC. You likely still have the Cronus Zen plugged into your computer (the PROG side). Unplug that cable completely before starting the game.

The mod menu won't open. Hold Left Trigger and press Options / Menu at the same time. Make sure the Zen is on your yew2K slot and the script is active before trying.
